I realize it's been a while, but I have a ton of new stuff on the way, especially as I finish up Christmas gifts. Those of course, will not be posted until the respective receivers actually receive them. ;) In the mean time, I'll be posting some brand new illos, and game art, along with some fantastic new blogsite remodeling and freshtodeath new branding and identity! I can't personally wait. How about you? :D

Character Development - Collab. Project

This is an in-progress creature concept for PN. I'm kind of a fan of the selective color. I may play with this more.
Three more to come, then a keyframe.

Environment Lighting Pt. 3 - Collab. Project

Here is the final lighting study for the environment. The array of colors at dusk is meant to give an almost unfamiliar feeling, like the sky before a tornado. Dust and spores riddle the sky. More on this project later. :)

Environment Lighting Pt. 2 - Collab. Project

This is the same environment at in the middle of the night.

Environment Lighting - Collab. Project

This is the previous environment placed in a noon-setting. I will be placing this environment in several different light settings, for different times of the day, to give a sense of how it acts throughout the day.

WIP New Collaborative Project

This is a WIP Environment for a new project I am working on with another party. More soon.

One Hour Portraits Part Two

Here's another one hour portrait of another artist I admire greatly - Justin "El Coro" Kaufman. He comes off to me as kind of a goofy guy, so I approached this with a little more of a caricature execution. I'm still getting used to one hours portraits, cutting my time down, quick/efficient brush stroke economy, and reteaching myself my process for other illustrations... just a lot faster. I feel like a good chunk of things are more successful about this one than the previous one, and also somethings not AS successful. In layman's terms: I've still got a lot to learn.

Hour-Long Portraits Part One

This is a portrait of Andrew "Android" Jones, for my class. This is part one of two parts. This took an hour and twenty minutes (roughly), and I'm somewhat pleased with the result. There is most definitely room for improvement, but there is ALWAYS room for improvement. I'd love to hear what you think.
