As I situate in my new place with my wonderful fiancee, I have many files on the external that need to be upped. This will be happening in the next couple weeks. For now, I figure this is easy enough to post as it is sitting right on my desktop. The final image will be posted soon enough, but this version is pretty close to completion.
This was a gift for a friend who was giving it as a gift to his brother for Christmas. It was really a lot of fun, as I was given basic criteria "It needs to have my brother" and "He needs to be riding Mazinger Z" and my favorite "It needs to be SUPER epic." The rest was faith in my creative freedom. It's not often in a designer/illustrator's development process that the higher up says "Hey, do what you want" so I took liberties. But overall, everyone involved was pleased. And I think I am, too. :)
